Stockholm celebrates August Strindberg


August Strindberg (1849-1912) is the most celebrated Swedish author and playwright of all times. 2012 marks the 100th anniversary of Strindberg’s death. This will be
celebrated in Stockholm throughout the year, with exhibitions, seminars, boat excursions, sightseeing, stage plays, and other events in Stockholm and around the world. Strindbergs birthday is on Saturday, January 22. www.strindberg2012.se

One of the daily creative events is that you can Follow Strindberg via blog, twitter and facebook. The entries are from the Occult Diary, his legendary diary in which he chronicles events, thoughts and observations from 1896 to 1908. Every entry will be published on the correct date, with a delay of some hundred years.
